Due to extreme heat, many pesticide manufacturers have entered scheduled maintenance periods, with some even halting production temporarily.  Meanwhile, weak market demand persists.Currently, overall pesticide inventories remain low, keeping market prices stable amid balanced supply and demand. However, prices of some products are declining due to oversupply and excess production capacity.

Herbicide:

The prices of glyphosate and 2,4-D have increased by $28 per ton and $70 per ton, respectively. In contrast, the prices of clethodim and fluroxypyr have decreased by $1,399 per ton and $420 per ton, respectively.

Pesticide:

Five insecticides have seen price declines: clothianidin, 95% monosultap, 90% monosultap, indoxacarb, and chlorantraniliprole. Among them, indoxacarb and chlorantraniliprole showed the most significant declines, both dropping by approximately $2,799 per ton. In addition, the prices of clothianidin, 95% monosultap, and 90% monosultap have declined to $8,814, $4,617, and $4,337 per ton, respectively.

Fungicide:

Most fungicides maintained stable prices, with the exception of difenoconazole, propiconazole, azoxystrobin, dimethomorph and metalaxyl. Azoxystrobin prices rose from $19,307 to $19,587 per ton, while difenoconazole, propiconazole, dimethomorph and metalaxyl declined to $12,312, $9,514, $8,395 and $13,291 per ton respectively.

Future Projection:

Prices of mainstream pesticide products are expected to remain stable. Notably, previously surging pesticide products like chlorantraniliprole and clethodim have recently seen price corrections to varying degrees.  Meanwhile, key varieties such as glyphosate and 2,4-D continue their upward price trend, with their future movements likely to set new market benchmarks.
