Sino-Brazilian Agrochemical Cooperation: Exhibition Platforms Empowering New Agricultural Development
In the grand global agricultural landscape, Brazil, with its vast agricultural and livestock scale, holds a significant position, sustaining a continuous strong demand for agrochemical products like pesticides. China, as a leading global producer of pesticides, is becoming an indispensable partner in the Brazilian agrochemical market. Against this highly complementary backdrop, specialized exhibition platforms and exchange activities are becoming key forces in deepening Sino-Brazilian agrochemical cooperation and promoting sustainable agricultural development.
Brasil AgrochemShow: Two Decades of Deep Cultivation in the South American Market
Brasil AgrochemShow, co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT Sub-Council of Chemical Industry) and Allier Brasil, is precisely such a bridge connecting the Chinese and South American agrochemical markets. As an overseas extension of the China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC Show) in the South American market, this exhibition has undergone two decades of development and accumulation since its inception in 2005. It serves not only as an important platform for Chinese agrochemical enterprises to meet buyers from Brazil and South America and explore the local agrochemical market, but also as a window for information exchange and technology sharing between the agrochemical industries of the two countries.
The 16th Brasil AgrochemShow is scheduled to be grandly held in São Paulo, Brazil, from August 12-13, 2025. This exhibition has received strong support from authoritative institutions such as the Brazilian Ministry of Agriculture, the National Association for the Promotion and Innovation of Bioindustry in Brazil (ANBIO), the Association of Plant Nutrition Technology Industries (ABNT), and the Brazilian Association of Compound Fertilizers (ANDA). At that time, nearly 70 exhibitors from home and abroad, specializing in pesticides, fertilizers, production equipment, packaging materials, logistics, registration trial units, and registration consulting services, will gather in São Paulo with over 1,000 industry professionals from 13 countries to jointly explore new industry developments.
A major highlight of the exhibition will be a series of high-level reports and dialogue and exchange activities during the event. Experts from China and Brazil will deliver 9 insightful reports covering cutting-edge topics such as new challenges in Brazilian agricultural development, the current state of the pesticide market, new changes in registration management regulations, successful experiences in pesticide registration, applications of biological control, and an overview of China's agrochemical industry development. Concurrently, 6 in-depth dialogue and exchange sessions will be held on topics including Brazilian pesticide registration, product quality control, sustainable agricultural development needs, pesticide trade, and Argentine pesticide registration.
The successful staging of this exhibition will provide new opportunities for participating enterprises to expand into the Brazilian and South American markets, and offer a solid guarantee for the healthy and sustainable development of local agriculture and abundant harvests. It not only promotes trade but also builds a platform for multi-party dialogue to jointly address global agricultural challenges and advance agrochemical technological innovation.
CAC Show: A Global Grand Event Connecting the World
In addition to Brasil AgrochemShow's deep cultivation in regional markets, its parent exhibition, the China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC Show), exerts a broader global influence.
The 26th China International Agrochemical & Crop Protection Exhibition (CAC 2026) will be held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai) from March 17-19, 2026. As a globally renowned "one-stop" business platform for the agrochemical industry, CAC 2026 will feature four sub-exhibitions: Crop Protection, Fertilizers, Agrochemical Equipment & Crop Protection Devices, and Agricultural Science & Technology.
The exhibition will fully leverage its role in connecting the world, serving the industry, and empowering enterprises, inviting over 2,200 enterprises from home and abroad to gather in the world of agrochemicals. It will facilitate cooperation with over 100,000 industry professionals worldwide, including those from South America, to jointly write a new chapter in the development of global agrochemicals. CAC Show is not only a display platform for agrochemical products and technologies but also an important grand event for participants from all links of the global agrochemical value chain to seek cooperation, gain market insights, and plan for shared development. It provides extensive exchange space for agrochemical enterprises from China and Brazil, as well as globally, to jointly address challenges in agricultural production and promote sustainable global agricultural development.
The cooperation between China and Brazil in the agrochemical sector is continuously deepening and expanding precisely through these professional exhibition platforms. These platforms not only facilitate trade but also play an irreplaceable role in technology exchange, policy understanding, and the dissemination of sustainable development concepts, sketching a brighter blueprint for the future of agriculture in both countries.
